（1466—1560）广东增城人，字元明，号甘泉。少师事陈献章。弘治十八年进士，授编修。历南京国子监祭酒，南京吏、礼，兵三部尚书。在翰林院时与王守仁同时讲学，主张“随处体认天理”，“知行并进”，反对“知先行后”，与阳明之说有所不同。后筑西樵讲舍讲学，学者称甘泉先生。卒谥文简。著有《心性图说》、《格物通》、《甘泉集》等。
