释普宁（？～一二七六），号兀庵，蜀（今四川成都）人。出家于蒋山，参育王无准师范禅师得法。理宗绍定、端平间，为侍者随师范自育王至径山数载。历住庆元府象山灵岩广福禅院、常州无锡南禅福圣禅寺、巨福山建长兴国禅寺、婺州云黄山宝林禅寺。端宗景炎元年卒（《佛学人名辞典》）。为南岳下二十世，无准师范禅寺法嗣。有《兀庵普宁禅师语录》三卷，收入《续藏经》。事见《语录》及附录。 释普宁诗，以辑自《语录》的偈颂及其中单编的诗合编为一卷。
