释慧开（一一八三～一二六○），号无门，俗姓梁，杭州（今属浙江）人。宁宗嘉定十一年（一二一八），入住湖州报因禅寺。后历住隆兴府天宁寺、黄龙崇恩寺、平江府灵岩显亲崇报寺、隆兴府翠岩广化寺，再住黄龙崇恩寺，镇江府焦山普济寺、平江府开元寺、建康府保宁寺、开山护国仁王寺。理宗淳祐七年（一二四七），入朝起居奉旨。景定元年（《西天目山志》作四年，误）卒，年七十八。为南岳下十八世，月林师观禅师法嗣。有《无门慧开禅师语录》二卷、《禅宗无门关》一卷，均收入《续藏经》。
