译文
骑马向西走几乎来到天边，离家以后已见到两次月圆。
今夜不知道到哪里去投宿，在这沙漠中万里不见人烟。
注释
碛（qì）：沙石地，沙漠。这里指银山碛，又名银山，在今新疆库木什附近。
走马：骑马。
辞家：告别家乡，离开家乡。见月两回圆：表示两个月。月亮每个月十五圆一次。
平沙：平坦广阔的沙漠、大漠。绝：没有。人烟：住户的炊烟，泛指有人居住的地方。
碛中作创作背景
这首诗与《逢入京使》写作时间相近，约写于唐玄宗天宝八载（749年）岑参第一次从军西征时。“碛中作”，即在大沙漠中作此诗。从“辞家见月两回圆”的诗句看，岑参离开长安已近两个月了。宿营在广袤无垠的大沙漠之中，正巧又遇上十五的月亮，写下了这首绝句。

岑参（约715-770年），唐代边塞诗人，南阳人，太宗时功臣岑文本重孙，后徙居江陵。[1-2] 岑参早岁孤贫，从兄就读，遍览史籍。唐玄宗天宝三载（744年）进士，初为率府兵曹参军。后两次从军边塞，先在安西节度使高仙芝幕府掌书记；天宝末年，封常清为安西北庭节度使时，为其幕府判官。代宗时，曾官嘉州刺史（今四川乐山），世称“岑嘉州”。大历五年（770年）卒于成都。
