译文
无情的野火，趁着阵阵西风，烧光了天涯芳草。冰天雪地里再次来到边塞，鬓发染霜，我已被寒风吹老。牧马长嘶，胡笳乱鸣，一并闯进我忧愁的怀抱。定然知道今天晚上，我这个庾信般多愁善感的诗人，会瘦掉多少。
即便是脑满肠肥的过去，尚且难以消受，这里的荒烟落照。更何况司马相如早已憔悴，不再有当垆卖酒的风流格调。回乐峰彻骨寒冷，受降城如此僻远，思念家乡的梦儿夜夜萦绕。登高凭栏，四野茫茫，不由百感交织，只能向着远方，发出一声清啸。
注释
百字令：词牌名，即念奴娇。双调一百字，上下片各十句四仄韵。
汉儿村：在今辽宁省朝阳县境内。
榆塞：榆关，即山海关。
“牧马”两句：汉李陵《答苏武书》：“胡笳互动，牧马悲鸣。”
庾郎：北周诗人庾信。他身经丧乱，作品饱含愁思，曾作《愁赋》。
脑满肠肥：不操心的人，吃得饱，养得胖。
文园：指司马相如。
酒垆风调：据《史记·司马相如列传》，司马相如曾和妻子卓文君在酒店当垆卖酒。
回乐峰：在今宁夏灵武西南。
受降城：有三处，这里泛指边塞。

百字令·宿汉儿村创作背景
按词中描写的是秋冬景色，且曰‘榆塞重来’，可知是指作者于康熙二十一年八，习至十二月随副都统郎谈赴梭龙时第二次至山海关，故应系于该年八、九月份。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
