此词当为李清照年轻时所作。据陈祖美《李清照简明年表》：公元1100年（宋哲宗元符三年），李清照结识张耒、晁补之及同龄诸女友，《浣溪沙·莫许杯深琥珀浓》、《点绛唇·蹴罢秋千》等词当作于是年前后。

浣溪沙·莫许杯深琥珀浓鉴赏
此为闺情词。全词含蓄蕴藉，颇得婉约之妙。清人王士祯说“婉约以易安为宗”（《花草蒙拾》）。其婉约特色，一是表现在抒写惜春悲秋的柔情上；二是艺术上委婉、含蓄。此词上片写饮酒，下片写醉眠，通篇表现的是闺愁，主要采用“映衬法”，词作情景交融，“情中景，景中情。”（《姜斋诗话》）
开头写“莫许杯深琥珀浓”，以深杯浓酒来消愁，其愁绪绵绵可想而知。““未成沉醉意先融”意谓酒虽然没有喝多少，心却已经醉了。此词开头以饮酒说愁诉恨，情思深沉，却又似不甚经意，这种淡中寓浓、似淡实浓的词句，颇得隽永。“瑞脑香消魂梦断，辟寒金小髻鬟松”两句则是进一步描绘女主人公辗转不寐的绵绵愁思。香已消，魂梦断，可见夜之漫长而梦寐难成。金钗小，髻鬟松，则以金钗之小来反衬发鬟之乱，进一步表现女词人的反侧床席、无法成眠之状，从而以人物情状来勾画人物愁情。结句“醒时空对烛花红”点题，将女主人公的满怀愁绪以景物映衬而出，景语实为情语。
全词在语言锤炼上也是颇见功力的。首先是精炼、形象、表现力强。如“莫许杯深琥珀浓”的“深”、“浓”两字，形象地勾出词中人即将豪饮之态。又如“应”、“空”是两个普通字眼儿，在这里却有极强蕴含力。“应”不仅写出钟声、风声相互应和的声响，而且暗示出女主人公深夜不寐之态，披露出人的脉脉愁情；一个‘“空”字又带出了词中人的多少寂寥哀怨。“香消魂梦断”一句中两个动词、用得也极为精炼、形象，它生动地勾画出女主人公梦寐难成之状。“辟寒金小髻鬟松”句中的“小”、“松”是一对形容词，而且又是相反相成，鬟愈松，钗愈小，颇有点思辨的味道，以此生动地描绘出词中人辗转床侧的情态。此句着此二形容词，大大增强了表现力，它使读者通过头饰的描写，不仅看到人物的情态，而且体察到人物的内心世界。如此精炼、生动的笔墨，令人叹服。其二，通俗的口语与典雅的用事自然和谐地统一于作品中。“琥珀”、“瑞脑”、“辟寒金”均是典雅富丽之辞，而“杯深”、“晚来风”、“香消魂梦断”、“髻鬟松”、“烛花红”等等又是极为通俗、明白如话的口语，这些口语经过锤炼加工，使其与典雅的用语相和谐，体现了“易安体”的显著特色。

李清照（1084年3月13日～1155年5月12日）号易安居士，汉族，山东省济南章丘人。宋代（南北宋之交）女词人，婉约词派代表，有“千古第一才女”之称。所作词，前期多写其悠闲生活，后期多悲叹身世，情调感伤。形式上善用白描手法，自辟途径，语言清丽。论词强调协律，崇尚典雅，提出词“别是一家”之说，反对以作诗文之法作词。能诗，留存不多，部分篇章感时咏史，情辞慷慨，与其词风不同。有《易安居士文集》《易安词》，已散佚。后人有《漱玉词》辑本。今有《李清照集校注》。
