鬓棱初翦玉纤弱。早春入、屏山四角。少年买困成欢谑。人在浓香绣幄。
霜丝换、梅残梦觉。夜寒重、长安紫陌。东风入户先情薄。吹老灯花半萼。
杏花天·鬓棱初翦玉纤弱鉴赏
上片“鬓棱”五句，忆年青时情景。言室中伊人刚剪成了一种有棱有角的鬓发新式样，其形体纤弱，更显得婀娜多姿。春天的气息早已从屏风四周向房中渗透进来。在春暖花香之时，有位少年男子在这香气弥漫的绣屋中偷懒假寐，引起了屋中伊人善意的取笑。
下片“霜丝换”四句，叙老年情景。言如今这位少年已是人老体衰，发如秋霜，处境犹如凋零的梅花，也似黄粱梦醒。虽然身处繁华似锦的临安都城，但老人的感觉恰如夜深寒重一般压抑；春风虽象从前一样吹拂着室中的灯光，然而老人也只感到它只是为了要吹灭灯光，吹残梅花，而没有了以前年青时代感受到的春的温情。
全词直叙今昔对春的感受，愈发显出了词人对老境凄凉的深有体会。此词与辛弃疾《丑奴儿·书博山道中壁》词：“少年不识愁滋味，爱上层楼。爱上层楼，为赋新词强说愁。而今识尽愁滋味，欲说还休。欲说还休，却道天凉好个秋”。两相对照参阅，则可见吴词之直，辛词之曲也。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
