沟塍流水处，耒耜平芜间。
薄暮饭牛罢，归来还闭关。
题农父庐舍鉴赏
这首诗虽称“题农父庐舍”，所写内容却与农舍无关而是反映了农家春耕时节忙碌的生活。春风吹绿了湖边的山野，田家也开始了春耕，平整土地，喂养耕牛，整日不得闲暇。而诗中田家实际上是归耕的隐士，春耕之余闭门谢客，体现了一种隐逸情怀。通篇语言清新自然。
起句看似平易，实具巧思。“东风何时至？已绿湖上山”，以平易质朴，明白如话的诗句，表现在不知不觉之间，春风悄然而至，带给漫山遍野一片春色盎然的景象。诗句如口头语、家常话，却写出了物候特点和人们的普遍感觉，诗意盎然。特别是一个“绿”字，似漫不经心，信手拈来，实见出作者驾轻就熟的“炼字”功夫。王安石《泊船瓜洲》中的名句“春风又绿江南岸”大概就是受此启发。
紧接下来的四句是写农家春忙。“湖上青既早，田家日不闲”是概括地写。“沟塍流水处，耒耜平芜间”是具体地写。湖色青青，农人们在田间躬耕不辍。这两句字面上虽没写人，但实际上正是写人，写的是农人正在田间渠边劳作的景象。这是一对联语，对仗工整。
结尾两句是写农人结束了一天的劳动，收工回家休息。饭牛就是喂牛。关即门闩，闭关就是闭门。傍晚时分，农人们给勤劳，一天的耕牛喂饮后，关上柴门回到家中休息。结句“归来还闭关”，一方面是写农人劳累了一天，第二天还要早起出工，需要及早休息，这从一个侧面含蓄地写出了春忙；另一方面也表现出了农人们无事不相往来、互不相扰、闭关自守的心理状态。整首诗生动地展示了在社会安定时期，农民“日出而作，日入而息”的宁静生活。
从诗题和诗的内容看，诗人是以一个旁观者的欣赏态度来赞美农家生活的。他对农民生活作了诗化、美化、理想化，可以说这是一曲“田园牧歌”。从这首诗的情调，读者也可隐约看出诗人与世无争的向往一种宁静闲适的生活的心态。

丘为，苏州嘉兴人。事继母孝，常有灵芝生堂下。累官太子右庶子。致仕，给俸禄之半以终身。年八十馀，母尚无恙。及居忧，观察使韩滉以致仕官给禄，所以惠养老臣，不可在丧而异，惟罢春秋羊酒。卒年九十六。与刘长卿善，其赴上都也，长卿有诗送之，亦与王维为友。诗十三首。
