译文
清澈的春水带着青潮上涨，水上的朱栏连着小渡桥。桥上站立着双靥带笑的美丽少女，好妖娆，倚靠着栏杆抚弄柳条。
月夜直到花朝，少女能够娴熟地按照“减字偷声”的变化吹奏玉箫。柳外的行人回头顾盼，好遥远，仿佛比那天上的银河还要远。
注释
渌（lù）水：清澈的水。
青潮：水面呈青绿色，且旺盛饱满，如同涨潮一般。
朱阑：朱红色的栏杆。
双笑靥（yè）：此处是说女子笑，脸上出现一对酒窝儿。
妖娆：形容女子美貌而富有风情。
花朝：旧俗以二月十五日为“百花生日”，故称此节为“花朝节”。
减字偷声：指词调的减省节奏和减少歌辞字句，从而衍变新调。
玉箫：箫的美称。
迢迢：遥远。

这首词具体创作年代已不详，词人在某地渡口偶然见到了一位少女，但井没有机会接近她，于是作此词，留作对伊人的写照。

南乡子·渌水带青潮鉴赏
上片首二句写景，为人物出场设置环境；一条清撤的小河，带着碧绿的潮水，向远处缓缓地流去；河上架着一座两边围着红色阑干的小小渡桥。朱阑映渌水，碧波泛青潮，景物闲雅优美，色彩艳丽鲜明，短短两句即展现出一幅令人神往的画面。“桥上女儿双笑着，妖烧。倚着阑干弄柳条。”“柳条”二字语意双关，既指柳条随风飘扬的情景，又指少女美丽迷人的腰肢。接着三句刻画人物。词人不写她的眉，不写她的腰，也没有摹绘形容其发型、妆饰和身材，而是把镜头对准“女儿”面颊上那两个迷人的酒涡。既突出了特征，又省去许多笔墨，跳出了前人描绘女性的窠臼。紧接着用一个两字短句“妖娆”，加以赞叹，说她无比娇美动人，别的都不须细看，只要看一眼她脸上那两个笑容可掬的酒涡就足够了。从句法结构上说，“妖娆”也是贯通下句的。此时此刻那位“女儿”正独自靠着桥上的朱阑，手里摆弄着柔软细嫩的柳条。这是作者摄取的第二个镜头。如果说第一个镜头是静态，那么第二个镜头则是动态了。“女儿”摆弄柳条，不知是探春还是惜别。含而不露，留下联想和思索的空间。上片五句，分为两层，先拉开幕布，推出景物，然后描绘女主人公的形象，一静一动，层次极为分明。
下片从月夜花朝写起，少女先是摆弄杨柳，此时又在月夜里吹奏起了玉箫。这优美的境界愈发使女子的形象扑朔迷离，让人浮想联翩。“柳外行人回首处，迢迢。若比银河路更遥。”最后两句，通过“行人”的反应来赞美“桥上女儿”容貌出众、技艺超群。每当人们看到她面颊上那迷人的“双笑靥”，听到她所吹奏的“玉箫”声时，便情不自禁地停步不前，都要留恋地回头瞻望。然而佳人近在咫尺，却亦远在天涯，若想与她相会，只怕比渡过迢迢的银河还要遥远。像谜一样美丽的女孩终究还是一个未解的谜，也许，她是仙子从天而降，在人间作短暂的停留，那纤尘不染，高雅脱俗的绰约风姿，让世人可望而不可及。

晏几道（1030-1106，一说1038—1110 ，一说1038-1112），男，汉族，字叔原，号小山，著名词人，抚州临川文港沙河（今属江西省南昌市进贤县）人。晏殊第七子。历任颍昌府许田镇监、乾宁军通判、开封府判官等。性孤傲，晚年家境中落。词风哀感缠绵、清壮顿挫。一般讲到北宋词人时，称晏殊为大晏，称晏几道为小晏。《雪浪斋日记》云：“晏叔原工小词，不愧六朝宫掖体。”如《鹧鸪天》中的“舞低杨柳楼心月，歌尽桃花扇底风”等等词句，备受人们的赞赏。
