严遂成（1694—?）约清高宗乾隆初（1736年前后）在世，字崧占（一作崧瞻），号海珊，乌程(今浙江湖州)人。雍正二年（1724）进士，官山西临县知县。乾隆元年（1736）举“博学鸿词”，值丁忧归。后补直隶阜城知县。迁云南嵩明州知府，创办凤山书院。后起历雄州知州，因事罢。在官尽职，所至有声。复以知县就补云南，卒官。
