陈烓(1449～1527年)，陈叔刚胞侄，字文用，号蒙庵，晚号留余。明成化十四年(1478年)进士，任潮州推官，饶平山民抗拒官府苛税，陈烓前往处置，十日即告安定。他巡行之处，冤民有从数百里外前往告状者，立即判决，案无滞留。后升南京御史，巡视两浙，奏劾贪吏监司以下13人，名声大起。弘治元年(1488年)，陈烓上疏奏苏民困等8事，均被采纳，后升广西佥事、浙江佥事，以病辞归。
