（430—464）即刘骏。字休龙，小字道民。南朝宋文帝第三子。初封武陵王，历任湘、雍、徐等州刺史，都督诸州军事。文帝元嘉二十八年，率军镇压江汉蛮民起义。后文帝为太子刘劭所杀，率兵进讨，至新亭即位称帝，杀刘劭。在位期间，剪除宗室，重用中书通事舍人戴法兴、巢尚之、戴明宝，使专朝政。推行土断，并限制占山封水，抑制大族，加强君权，在位十一年。庙号世祖。
