宋洪州南昌人，字驹父。洪朋弟。哲宗绍圣元年进士。放意江湖，不求闻达。徽宗崇宁中坐元符上书邪等，降官监汀州酒税，入党籍。钦宗靖康中为谏议大夫。汴京失守，坐为金人括财，流沙门岛卒。有《老圃集》、《香谱》。
