秦朝末年，韩信投奔项羽，不得志改投刘邦未被重用就愤而出走，萧何得知后，月下追回韩信。刘邦封他为齐王，但担心他谋反，将韩信贬为淮阴侯，收回兵权。刘邦亲自征讨陈豨，吕后请萧何用计将韩信诓入未央宫杀害。
